About Me

Joseph is a lifelong cyber-philosopher and emergent technologist with a unique background in big data and stream processing technologies. From as young as he can recall he has had access to a personal computer resulting in an intuitive sense for how systems operate and are integrated together. During his teenage years he installed multiple flavors Linux, and ran a full LAMP stack for a discussion forum before the age of 16. His time after college spent in automotive industry around connectected and autonomous vehicles expanded his understanding of Telematics and IoT. Most recently he has ended a 2 year role as the Hadoop Resident Architect where he guided application and platform teams to maturing multiple clusters managing over 20+ Petabytes of storage. While Resident Architect he architected a next-generation Self-Service Real Time Streaming Architecture enabling end user analysts access to streaming data for self-service analytics.
